These terms and conditions together with the documents referred to in them tell you the basis on which we will supply to you our goods (“Goods”) and services (“Services”). Prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Wilco Direct website. Prices in our stores may be higher or lower than shown. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online and include V.A.T. where appropriate.
In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.

Our online store can accept orders originating from and for delivery to Mainland U.K and Europe. Click the Add to Basket button on the product information page. After making your selections use the Checkout link. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the simple checkout process.
We will ask for details of your billing address - this must be the address at which your credit/debit card is registered - and email/phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order. You will be given the opportunity to select a different delivery address later in the checkout process. Finally, we will ask for details of the Credit/Debit card you wish to use to make your payment.
You will then be shown a final confirmation page summarising all the details of your order. Clicking Confirm This Order will generate and transmit your order to our warehouse where we will begin to process it. If you need to amend your order after it has been generated, please contact us via our Contact Us page.
Wilco Direct will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the address you supplied when registering with our website, however, this will not bring into existence a legally binding agreement between us. All orders placed on Wilco Direct are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in the section below. Please refer to the Pricing section above regarding incorrect prices.
Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded in is English. Details of your order will be retained by Wilco Direct in our database and these details can be made available on request. Please contact us via the 'Contact Us' page on our website.
Voucher codes are currently not available to use with Click and Reserve orders. If you wish to use a voucher please select Home Delivery when placing your order.
If you apply a voucher code to your basket and then select a branch for Click and Reserve, the voucher will be removed from your order.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards and PayPal. Payment will be debited from your account at the time your purchase is dispatched.
5. Validation Checks
All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Wilco Direct will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before dispatch or we may be unable to accept your order.
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit/debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.
7. Delivery of Goods
We can deliver to UK and European addresses although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead time. Please contact us for further details.
Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address e.g. your place of work. Your order will be delivered either by ParcelForce, Royal Mail or a local carrier. A signature is required for all ParcelForce and carrier deliveries. If your order contains more than one product the individual products may, on occasion, be dispatched separately.
8. Delivery Times
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days does not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days. From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 5 working days providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is shown on the product information page.
Express deliveries will be delivered within 2 working days on orders received by 3pm the previous day. Orders placed after 3pm will be handled the next working day. Deliveries to non-mainland UK or remote locations may take longer. Please ask for further details. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.
Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives they will leave a card with a contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from their local depot.
We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
9. After-Sale Service and Guarantees
Where applicable, details of manufacturer’s guarantees Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery. We can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered at UK and European addresses. Please see our Delivery Options page for details of delivery to non-mainland UK and European addresses.
10. Waste Electrical Equipment Regulations (WEEE)
Recycle your old electricals here! If you're buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free.
Please do not throw electrical equipment (including those items marked with the symbol below) in your bin. This is because the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally-friendly processing of these items.
- Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK's fastest growing type of waste
- Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment
- If we do not recycle electrical items they will end up in landfill where hazardous substances leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and human health
In the UK, distributors including retailers must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met the requirements placed on us by offering all customers buying new electrical equipment free take-back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis at our warehouse at the address below. Unwanted items must be returned within 28 days of purchasing your new product.

11. Queries and Complaints
If you are not happy with any aspect of our online service or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed online, please either e-mail us via the Contact Us page on our website or write a letter to the address given on that page and we will do everything we can to help you.
12. Returns Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts (information, cancellation and additional charges) Regulations 2015, you have the right to cancel your order within a 14-day Cooling-Off period, which commences the day after delivery was made. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel under these regulations, you must inform Wilco Direct of your intention to cancel the order by either email, telephone, fax or by post within the 14-day cooling off period.
Once you have informed Wilco Direct of your right to cancel, you must continue to take good care of the goods and retain possession of them until they are returned by yourself. You will be required to return the goods at your own cost, via an insured carrier and within 30 days. If the goods are returned within 30 days, in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition, we will issue a full refund, less any delivery charges made.
If you are unable to arrange the return yourself, we will be pleased to do so, but a charge will be made for this, which we would deduct from any refund due. Delivery Charges will not be refunded as delivery is a service which is completed when the original delivery is made.
13. Faulty Goods
If the goods develop a fault within 28 days of delivery, please inform us immediately. We will arrange for those items to be collected and if they are confirmed to be faulty, we will be pleased to replace the item with a new one, or in the event of the same item no longer being available, an equivalent. You may wish to receive a refund instead, which we will be pleased to issue.
If the goods develop a fault between 28 days and 6 months from delivery, once again, please inform us immediately. We will arrange collection and repair of the item and will return the item to you when the repair is completed. If we are unable to carry out a repair on the item, we may choose to replace the item with a new one, or if the item is no longer available, with an equivalent.
If an item develops a fault after 6 months from date of delivery, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
14. Images and Colour Reproduction
Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow. All images displayed are for illustration purposes only and are correct to the best of our knowledge. E&OE.
15. Safe Shopping Guarantee
We have made every effort to ensure that shopping with Wilco Direct is as safe as purchasing by card from one of our Wilco stores. Our website is hosted on a secure server which encrypts all of your personal information sent via the internet. During the processing of your order, your information may be required to be transmitted more than once. At no point are your personal details sent in an unencrypted format.
16. Site Security
The Wilco Direct website has been issued with a Secure Server Digital Certificate by Lets Encrypt Secure Site and is permitted to display the authentic Lets Encrypt Secure Site Seal. The Lets Encrypt Secure Site seal is an electronic licence credential for online businesses. It confirms that Wilco Direct is a legitimate website and establishes encryption channels which protect all the information you send over the internet while you are using our website.
